ATILA

I am from a family of artists, born into a Balcanian cultural cocktail in 1973. I was raised in Belgrade, and was lucky enough to take my first artistic steps with the immediate support of my family.

I chose not to go through formal art education, but to be taught through my own experimentation, and by my father Karlo, himself a professional artist, who graduated from The Washington School of Art in Chicago.

I started with drawing, painting, and ceramics. As I moved on, inspired by the amazing magic of art, and tuned myself to creative forces, and kept exploring. I have been active in the art world since 2004.

Since 2009, I have lived both in San Diego, and Belgrade being exposed to multicultural influences. Slowly evolving I am now on the path of fulfilling the call…
